On Saturday, September 28, 2024, 15 dedicated volunteers from the Rotary Clubs of Eugene, Southtowne, and Delta came together at GrassRoots Garden for a rewarding day of service. In partnership with United Way of Lane County and FOOD for Lane County, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to support local food security efforts.
Throughout the morning, the team worked hard, harvesting fresh vegetables, chopping apples, and painting sheds to improve the garden’s facilities. This hands-on project will directly benefit families encountering food insecurity across our community.
